Dr. James Stanger will discuss “Dodging the cloud's and DevOps' deadliest sins”
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. – Top technology industry leaders, including CompTIA’s chief technology evangelist, will deliver advice and recommendations on how to win the fight against cybercriminals at SC Media’s “Cloud security: The ultimate evolve or die” eSummit May 16-17.
CompTIA’s Dr. James Stanger will speak on “Dodging the cloud's and DevOps' deadliest sins.” He’ll discuss some of the cultural, industry and business best (and worst) cybersecurity practices; along with actions organizations large and small can take to create different procedures and build more secure solutions. Stanger’s session is set for Tuesday, May 16, at 12:45 p.m. ET.
"While you really can't ‘dodge’ today's development and cloud deadly sins, you can take steps to get out of the wild, wild west and avoid the root causes of the problems we often find ourselves in,” Stanger said. “I'm looking forward to discussing some of the ways we can mature our operations and move towards a minimum level of viability, when it comes to security."
Stanger is a recognized authority in security analytics, threat hunting, education, systems administration, and open source. He consults regularly with organizations across a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defense, education, finance, government, pharmaceutical, retail, and technology.
