CompTIA is looking for data professionals who have current experience working in the data systems field to be involved in a Job Task Analysis workshop for a Data Systems certification exam.
During the Job Task Analysis, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will identify areas of competence required for the Data Systems exam to ensure that the examination objectives are relevant to job roles and activities for the target audience.
Assistance from SMEs is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have at least 5 years of experience working as a database administrator, data administrator, or data engineer. Potential SMEs must have hands-on experience working with on-premises databases, cloud-based relational databases, and/or NoSQL databases. Solution architecture experience is a plus.

In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire JTA workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.
*International SMEs will instead receive $540/day stipend ($2,700 total) to help defer additional travel costs.
