CompTIA’s Human Services IT Advisory Group (HSITAG) met in New York City at the end of November and a transition in leadership was the major focus. Mike Coulson of Deloitte, who has served as Chair for the past two years, turned over the leadership position to Paul Hencoski of KPMG. Elected as HSITAG Vice Chairs for the next two years were Jacque Gombach of Captuva and Kim Shaver of Northrup Grumman. Paul also added to the Executive Council with three new appointees:
- Rafael Lopez, Accenture
- Paula Hildebrand, IBM
- Scott Dunn, Optum
As a part of Paul’s new leadership, he convened the executive council to formulate broad goals for the HSITAG Council. Those goals are:
- Effectively integrating new members, individuals, and companies.
- Engaging in more substantive content.
- Enhance organizational stature and effectiveness.
- Experiment with creative programming.
These goals will get populated with working groups and committees to help accomplish each through the next two years. Questions about HSITAG’s election and leadership process can be answered by checking out the governance document in the resources section at www.comptia.org/HSITAG.
