It’s late April, and if you reside anywhere in the country where spring hasn’t fully sprung, we probably don’t have to twist your arm to book a trip to sunny Orlando, FL, to attend ChannelCon – the premier training and partnering event for the IT channel – July 29 to 31. And even if you’re lucky enough to live in one of those states where sunshine and warmth is plentiful year-round, keep reading to learn about some of the discounts and freebies CompTIA is offering ChannelCon attendees – especially the early birds that book by June 15!
1. Complimentary registrations. Yes, you read that right – if you’re a CompTIA member, your ChannelCon registration is free! That’s $899 you’re saving right off the bat. Why wouldn’t you take advantage of that offer?
2. Even non-members get a deal. If you’re not a CompTIA member, ChannelCon is a great time to become one. Non-member solution providers pay only $150 to attend ChannelCon and receive a one-year CompTIA membership. That’s $1,150 in savings.
3. Complimentary transportation. Right now you’re probably doing some math in your head – registration is free (or discounted) but I still have to plan for transportation, hotel, etc. To make your trip (a lot) easier, CompTIA has provided free shuttle service for solution providers to and from the Orlando International Airport and the Peabody Orlando. You just need to reserve your spot by contacting Stephanie Swaney at sswaney@comptia.org or (630) 678-8403.
4. Get an Amazon gift card. If you’re a solution provider that’s on top of things and can book everything (registration, hotel and shuttle service) by June 15 you’ll receive an Amazon gift card. Maybe some new sunglasses are in order for your trip to sunny Florida?
5. Score points. When you join the ChannelCon Players Club, for every 500 points you earn for attending event activities, your name will be entered into the Grand Prize Players Club raffle to win a prize valued at $7,000! The attendee who accrues the most points earns the "Players Club Champion" title. Winners will be announced at the Fast and Furious closing party held at the Richard Petty Driving Experience Wednesday, July 31, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. You must be present to win.
6. The Peabody Duck March. Have you seen this? Every single day the Peabody Ducks descend from their penthouse via elevator, march across the hotel atrium and climb up red carpet steps to the fountain – their home for the day. Every evening the march is reversed as the ducks make their way back to their penthouse. In addition to this well-known tradition, the Peabody Orlando also offers free wireless high-speed Internet service, free access to the Peabody Athletic Club, unlimited local and 1-800 phone calls, two bottled waters each day, two I-Ride trolley tickets per room per day, lobby coffee service and free shoeshine services.
Book your trip today to take advantage of everything ChannelCon is offering attendees. Remember, early birds get the worms – so get everything together by June 15! Register here or visit the ChannelCon website for more details about the conference.
