CompTIA member Greg VanDeWalker is the senior vice president of strategic relationships at GreatAmerica Leasing Corp., responsible for managing the company’s extensive network of OEM and national partners. He also directs the organization’s managed print services (MPS) initiative, providing education and support for solution providers looking to implement print management strategies.
VanDeWalker’s passion and focus around this thriving segment of the IT channel is inspirational and he chairs the CompTIA MPS Community with the same conviction and energy. As an advocate of the technology and the business model that makes MPS possible, VanDeWalker illustrates the ample opportunities in this sector of the IT channel wherever (and whenever) he can.
With a wealth of finance accounting experience gained prior to joining GreatAmerica, he is able to offer sound advice to solution providers on a number of topics, helping them get the most out of their business. His professional career started on a much different path, as a tax accountant with Arthur Anderson & Company after graduating with an accounting degree from Bob Jones University. Undertaking a new course, he filled sales and management roles at Business Credit Leasing (BCL) and served as general manager for the transportation division of US Bancorp. That diverse background and skill set allows VanDeWalker to offer a different perspective to channel partners and members of the MPS Community.
