CompTIA held its most successful Australia and New Zealand Channel Community meeting to date in Sydney on Wednesday 9 November 2016. The event, which attracted a record number of 110-plus attendees, focused on how the ANZ channel can increase sales in the New Year.
The meeting, held at Sydney’s Swissôtel, included presentations by three experts in sales, marketing and social selling to provide attendees with practical ideas to grow their businesses in 2017.
Our Christmas edition of the ANZ Channel Community meeting was focused on sharing insights and collaboration. Working together, attendees created an ANZ Channel Industry Roadmap, a tool to help IT companies plan for the future of our industry.
Tony Hughes, the number one sales influencer in Asia-Pacific for 2015 according to Top Sales Magazine and best-selling author, discussed how to talk to customers in a way that grabs their attention and grows revenue.
Mark McInnes, Australia’s number one LinkedIn social seller for 2016, explained the seven secrets of social selling and how to find new prospects without cold calling.
Melanie Unwin, director and co-founder, Mogrify, gave her insights on how to make a success of marketing with content.
It was great to have three high-calibre speakers share their insights with the local community. They provided a wealth of information and practical tips that businesses can use in their day-to-day work.
The attendees were very engaged in the event, collaborating and sharing their own insights. This was a fantastic meeting to close the year for the local IT industry sector.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s meetings; with the first date set for March 2017.
